In our first two seasons, the SHS wrestling team has seen unprecedented growth and success. We started out by introducing the new sport to our area and recruiting guys for the team. We went from practicing in a borrowed facility throughout season one to building a facility of our own that debuted in season two. We’ve built traditions and given our school and community something to be proud of.
The stats from our first two seasons speak for themselves. So far, six of our guys have passed the twenty-win mark. We’ve had 34 team wins and 461 individual wins. We’ve had wrestlers ranked near the top going into the region tournament. We’ve had 12 region-placers and five substate qualifiers. We also sent one wrestler to state last year.
Season three is shaping up to be just as successful as the first two. Come out and support your Highlander wrestlers in 2025-2026!
